I always keep small bottles of red and white wine (like you get on an airplane) in the pantry for use in recipes that call for a cup or two of wine. First of all, I always have it on hand and do not have to make a special shopping trip for it. Plus, it is easier than opening a regular sized bottle when you only need a cup. You can also buy mini sized bottles of liqueur such as Grand Marnier or Chambord. This is more economical since the large bottles are very expensive.

My sister-in-law went to her grandmother's house for dinner. Her grandmother made Chicken Parmesan with Pasta. My sister-in-law was famished! When she took a bite of the chicken, the cheese tasted funny. She asked her grandmother what kind of cheese she used. Her grandmother got up, went to the frig, and returned with a bag of flaked coconut. She thought it was shredded cheese!!!
