Shipping Your Order

GourmetMagic.com utilizes the fulfillment (shipping) services of Dart Warehouse Corporation of Naperville, IL. Dart is a provider of retail re-seller services specializing in the Internet and Mail Order.

All orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS (PO Boxes and APO/FPO Military Addresses only) within 24 hours of receipt of your order, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders received by 8:00 AM Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday, will ship that day. Orders received after the cutoff time will ship on the next business day. This includes upgraded UPS shipping such as 2-day and Next Day Air.

Please keep in mind that shipping and delivery are out of the hands of Gourmet Magic once your order has left the Dart warehouse. The map below will give you a good indication of UPS shipping times:

Example: If you are located in the Beige Two Day Zone and place your order before 8:00 AM Central Time on Monday, you should receive your order on Wednesday. If you place your order after 8:00 AM Eastern Time, your order will arrive on Thursday. The day you place your order is not considered to be a shipping day within a zone.

After your order is packed and shipped, you will receive a notification to the e-mail address that you provided in the shipping (not billing) section where you placed your order. The same e-mail is forwarded to the staff at GourmetMagic.com so that we can also monitor the shipment of your orders. Your shipping notification will include a link to the UPS website where you can track the delivery of your order.

Please have your order number available. Any damaged products will be promptly replaced. Please do not discard any damaged items before contacting us. A claim will be placed with UPS and, occasionally, UPS inspects the damaged items.

UPS Deliveries

Upon checkout, you will see the UPS shipping fees for Standard Ground, 2-Day and Next Day Air. You can decide on the level of shipping needed.

UPS requires a signature when a package is delivered. If you are not at home when the package is delivered, UPS will leave a note requesting a signature. Just sign the notification and leave it on the door. UPS will attempt delivery two more times.

If you requested shipping to your place of business, please be very specific when you enter your shipping information. Provide your name, the name of the company, your business phone number, floor number or room number if appropriate. If UPS cannot find the shipping address, they will mail you a postcard and will hold your package for approximately a week. It would be your responsibility to contact UPS after receiving the postcard.

If UPS cannot deliver your package due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address or lack of customer response, it will be returned to GourmetMagic.com. If this happens, we will be happy to reimburse the cost of the products. The shipping cost cannot be reimbursed since this fee has been paid to UPS for services rendered. There is also a $5.00 restocking fee.

Shipping Options

UPS 2nd Day Air — Please add $20.00 to the chart above. Your order will arrive by the end of the 2nd business day.

UPS Next Day Air Saver — Please add $50.00 to the chart above. Your order will arrive by the end of the next business day.

PO Boxes, APO and FPO Military Addresses

UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. An actual street address must be entered in the “Ship To” section when placing your order.
If you are shipping your order to a PO Box or an APO/FPO Military Address, please choose USPS Priority Mail as your shipping method.

International Orders

GourmetMagic.com only ships to the 50 United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Canadian Customers

Important Note for Canadian Customers:
The UPS brokerage fee, duties and applicable taxes on orders shipping to Canada are not included in our shipping rates. These charges are due upon delivery. A Canadian “Goods and Services Tax” (GST) of approximately 7% of the product cost is levied on all import shipments. The “Provincial Taxes” (PST) vary from province to province. These taxes currently range from 0 (zero) to 10% of product cost. If the shipment is to a province where the “Harmonized Sales Tax” (HST) applies, you’ll pay that amount instead of the GST and/or PST tax.
These fees are determined at the US/Canadian border so GourmetMagic.com cannot give you an estimate of these fees when you place an order.

Product Availability

A backorder situation rarely occurs at GourmetMagic.com since products are removed from the site if they are not in inventory. We maintain a very healthy inventory in the warehouse and make every attempt to keep every product available at all times.
If a product is unavailable when you place an order, you will be notified of this by phone or e-mail. You will have the option of canceling your order or waiting until the product returns to inventory. We will give you an estimate as to when the product will be available again.

Return Policy

In the event that your order was damaged in shipment or packed incorrectly, we will be happy to issue a replacement or refund within 10 days. Just contact GourmetMagic.com, toll free at 866-414-6624 or leave an e-mail at comments@gourmetmagic.com for return authorization. We have tried to present accurate product descriptions so that the product would satisfy your individual tastes.
A $5.00 restocking fee will be charged for all returns.

Checks and Money Orders are accepted. Orders paid by check are not processed until the check clears.

Minimum Order

There is a $15.00 minimum order on GourmetMagic.com, not including shipping costs.

Security Policy

GourmetMagic.com utilizes state of the art Secure Server Software (using Thawte SSL Certificates) to guarantee the security of information transfers. At no time does your actual credit card number appear on the Internet. AuthorizeNet processes our credit card transactions and does so for over 50,000 merchants. Secure Server Software encrypts all information (scrambles it up) before it is transmitted over the Internet.

At no time is any of your credit card information stored on the GourmetMagic.com customer database. The staff of GourmetMagic.com is not privy to your credit card information. Only the company that processes our transactions – AuthorizeNet – ever sees your complete credit card number.

Privacy Policy

GourmetMagic.com never has - and never will - share any of your personal information, including your e-mail address.

Occasionally, Gourmet Magic will send an e-mail to past customers notifying them of new products, sales, recipes, etc. If you do not wish to receive e-mail correspondence from Gourmet Magic, you will be given the opportunity to remove yourself from our e-mail address book. You will never receive another e-mail from us!
