“PorkRubbers” Pineapple Teriyaki MarinadeBefore we add any new products onto the website, we always evaluate them in the Gourmet Magic Test Kitchen since our goal is to offer only products of the highest quality. One of our new products – “PorkRubbers” Pineapple Teriyaki Marinade – was an instant hit with our staff. The marinade is a 2002 Scovie 1st Place Award Winner. The unique blend of soy sauce and pineapple juice creates an extraordinarily rich flavor. The pineapple juice acts as a natural tenderizer and the marinade adds a little zip to any dish.

If you can grill hamburgers and hot dogs, you can make this recipe with ease and appear to be the neighborhood gourmet grilling chef! We chose a pork tenderloin for this meal but the marinade would also be wonderful for chicken or seafood. We hope you enjoy this “recipe” as much as we did.

Preparation:

Marinate the pork tenderloin using ˝ bottle of “PorkRubbers” Pineapple Teriyaki Marinade, covered and refrigerated, for at least 3 hours.

Remove tenderloin from marinade and allow to come to room temperature, approximately 15 minutes.

Bring remaining marinade to a boil in a pot on the stovetop. For health reasons, DO NOT use any marinade that has been exposed to raw meat without boiling it first.

Place tenderloin on a hot grill and cook until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 160 – 170 degrees, depending upon how well-done you would like the meat.

Turn the pork twice while grilling, basting with the boiled marinade.

Remove the tenderloin from the grill and cover with aluminum foil. Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes before carving.

If you would like to serve the meat with a sauce, just pour some of the remaining ˝ bottle of marinade into a pot and heat it on your stovetop.

Suggestions for Side Dishes:

We served the pork with Grilled Pineapple and Rice Pilaf.

Rice Pilaf – We especially like “Near East” Rice Pilaf with Almonds. It is quick & easy and readily available in your local supermarket.

Grilled Pineapple – We used cored pineapple available in a plastic bag in the refrigerated produce section of the supermarket. You can thickly slice it into wedges or rings. Add some salt and pepper to olive oil and brush on the pineapple so that it doesn’t stick to the grill. It also adds some great flavor.
