Razz BBQ Chicken Pizza
Courtesy of PorkRubbers
Are you already getting tired of grilling hot dogs and hamburgers? This unique recipe for barbecued pizza was developed by , the award-winning Barbecue Cook Off Team from Lombard, IL. Their Razz-B-Que BBQ Sauce was a Scovie Winner in 2002 and perfectly compliments the flavor of the grilled chicken. Best of all - it’s quick and easy to make!
Ingredients:
1 pre-cooked pizza crust (such as Boboli)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts - cooked and diced
8 oz. package of shredded pizza blend cheese (we used a mozzarella/cheddar blend)
1 bottle of
Directions:
Preheat grill or grill pan.
Grill the chicken breasts until done, basting on both sides with Razz-B-Que BBQ Sauce.
Dice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Using a pastry brush, spread Razz-B-Que BBQ Sauce over the pizza crust, including the edges.
Spread the diced chicken evenly over the pizza.
Top with the pizza blend cheese. The amount of cheese depends upon your personal taste.
Place pizza on a medium-hot grill with the top down, just until the cheese is melted. This only takes a few minutes since the crust and chicken are already cooked. Be careful not to burn the underside of the pizza crust.
The pizza can also be cooked in an oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
