Beer Baked BBQ Ribs
Courtesy of Gourmet Magic

Winter is dragging on, you are craving some good ribs but don’t have the fortitude to brave the cold and fire up the grill. Until you can do that, this recipe will satisfy your hunger and you can do it in the comfort of your warm kitchen. These ribs are extremely easy to make with very little prep. The addition of beer makes them very tender. Just fry up some sliced potatoes and onions for a great side dish.

Ingredients:

Baby Back or Pork Spareribs
Urban Accents BIG Pork Rub
Texas Rib Kings BBQ Sauce
1 can of Beer

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Sprinkle Urban Accents BIG Pork Rub on ribs and massage into meat. Let stand for about 15 minutes.
Place one layer of ribs in a 9x13” baking dish. Pour a can of beer over ribs

(If you are making more ribs and are using a larger pan,
such as a big lasagna dish, use 2 cans of beer).

Cover tightly with foil and bake for one hour.
Remove foil from baking dish – be careful of steam. Lower heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for one more hour.
About 15 minutes before ribs are done cooking, brush them with Texas Rib Kings BBQ Sauce.

Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
