Dean Jacobs Crostini
Courtesy of Dean Jacobs

Dean Jacobs Bread Dipping Seasoning is a very popular item at Gourmet Magic. Traditionally, it is used by pouring some olive oil into a small saucer, sprinkling in your favorite Dean Jacobs Seasoning and dipping away with some crusty bread. This quick and very simple recipe for Crostini is another great use for these tasty seasonings and a delicious alternative to garlic bread.

What You Will Need:

Dean Jacobs Bread Dipping Seasoning
One Baguette
Olive Oil or Butter

PREPARATION:

Take the baguette and slice pieces of the bread on an angle.

Place the slices on a cookie sheet and slide under the broiler until lightly toasted. If you are only making a few pieces, a toaster oven works well.

Remove the bread from the broiler and turn over each piece.

Coat the untoasted side of each piece with olive oil or butter. Sprinkle generously with your favorite Dean Jacobs Bread Dipping Seasoning.

Return to the broiler until hot and toasty. Careful - it doesn’t take very long.

Serve in a breadbasket or spread out on a serving dish.

These are especially good with any kind of Italian dish or as a light appetizer or snack. Enjoy!
