Warm Layered Cream Cheese Dip

This recipe is a life saver if you have to come up with a little snack or appetizer in a hurry. The dip itself only has 3 ingredients and cooks in a microwave for 5 minutes. If prepared in a glass bowl, the layers look very impressive. Without fail, every time you serve this, you will be asked for the recipe!


Ingredients:

2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (15 oz.) chili without beans
16 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Preparation:

Spread cream cheese on the bottom of a microwave safe dish. Preferably use a clear glass dish so you can see the layers.

Spread a layer of chili over the cream cheese.

Finish with a layer of shredded Cheddar cheese.

Microwave for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Serve with tortilla chips.

TIP: You can expand upon this recipe by adding additional ingredients that you like – jalapenos, black olives, etc.
